Power recliner guides: fit & features index

By Powered Seating

This page is research-based furniture literacy. It indexes Powered Seating checklists for fitting a power recliner to a person and room, and for reading manufacturer feature labels. Powered Seating has not independently used or measured the chairs named on companion pages.

What this page is (and is not)

This is an index of literacy checklists — fit, room planning, mechanism labels, warranty reading, and feature-specific companion pages. Use it to find the right checklist before you open a manufacturer document for an exact model and size.

Short how-to-shop reminder

  1. Measure the person (hip width, thigh length, lower-leg cue) and the room (floor rectangle, wall path, doorway, outlet) before shopping.
  2. Open the current owner’s manual or official product page for the exact model, size code, finish, and region.
  3. Prefer manufacturer seat W/D/H, wall clearance, capacity, and warranty splits when published.
  4. If a field is missing, leave it GAP / unpublished — do not invent from sibling sizes or retailer blogs.
  5. If two manufacturer documents disagree, quote both; do not pick a convenient winner.
  6. Fit and published clearance matter more than logo reputation.

This index does not name product winners.
